POSITION TITLE: Employment Consultant
REPORTS TO: Lead Employment Consultant and/or Director


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create work positions in the network for individuals with incapacities.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Help customer in meeting arrangement and transportation.

2. Match employer expectations and needs to the abilities and strengths of underemployed or unemployed individuals with disabilities.

3. Meet with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors in regard to client job placement efforts.

4. Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all staff and clients we serve.

5. Case oversee work mentors as they help with customer particular employment shadowing, evaluations, work improvement as well as preparing.

6. Recruit, mentor, train and review staff.

7. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Three (3) years experience in business world - preferably in management or supervisory role

2. Professional education and additionally some experience favored with individuals with incapacities favored.

3. High school diploma or equivalent

This is a full time position.   The salary range for this position begins at $27,000 and up depending on experience plus incentive.
